• Pre-anesthetic blood work to assess your pet's overall health and anesthetic risk and allow us to choose the appropriate anesthetic protocol for your pet.
• ‍IV catheter and fluids to maintain hydration and blood pressure during the procedure.
• ‍Pain medication – pets perceive pain the same way as humans, but don't necessarily express it the same way.  Your team is trained to recognize even the most subtle signs of pain in your pet and treat them accordingly.  Your pet will also receive pain medication for you to administer at home and we will work to educate you on how to recognize pain in your pet and offer stress free ways to administer medication.
• ‍Personalized discharge instructions – We take time to go over your personalized discharge instructions carefully and answer all of your questions.  We will provide you with resources for after hours questions and always follow up personally the day after surgery.  You will always have someone to reach out to for help 24/7.
